 NRP 8th Edition

The AAP Neonatal Resuscitation Program is a required certification for all healthcare providers who come into contact with newborns. The AAP NRP Skills course format requires learners to first study Neonatal Resuscitation material, then complete an online exam. After completing the AAP NRP exam, learners must then attend an interactive course that includes only a hands-on NRP skills test.

  • Part 1 Exam Certificate of Completion

There are 2 parts to obtaining your NRP certification.

  • Part 1: Complete the online exam and course survey. Visit NRP 8th Edition online exam to access the test. 
    • There is an additional fee of $45, which you pay to the American Academy of Pediatrics. 
  • Part 2: Attend an instructor led NRP skills session at one of our training locations. (Encino, Whittier or (Modesto) Hughson)

8th Edition NRP Instructions 

STEP 1

First, schedule your NRP skills session.

 

STEP 2

Click on the NRP website. Next, select the NRP 8th Edition Learning Platform button. All students will have to create a new account.

 

STEP 3

Based on Hospital preference, select the Essentials exam, or Advanced exam. Once completed, email or bring a copy of the certificate of completion.

 

STEP 4

After the skills session, return to the online NRP Learning Platform and log-back in. Your NRP eCard should be located in the My Certificates & eCards Tab.

 

  

The BLS for Healthcare Providers Renewal Course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments. BLS is a comprehensive course covering adult, child, and infant CPR, AED, and choking. With a focus on High-Quality CPR and team dynamics.

For students who already hold a current BLS Provider e-card.

Classroom course involves hands-on learning with instructor guidance.

Required for anyone in a healthcare-related job or student.

Approved and accredited by the American Heart Association.

Due to the recent AHA ATLAS updates, our system is no longer able to search for student records past June 12, 2023.

You can search for your e-card by clicking on the link below. Fill in your First name, Last name, and email address. The system will then ask you for your security question.

Any and all replacement e-cards, and name changes which now require a replacement e-card will be subject to a $20 fee. This fee from the American Heart Association is effective as of June 12, 2023.
